1.11 ct Emerald Cut Golden Topaz
Such gorgeous even color! This gem is a perfect gold color, and the color is perfectly even across the gem. Sounds perfect, right?
You'll see a lot of our gems cut in teardrop or marquise shapes to accentuate the difference in color. This is the classic style of cutting imperial and golden topaz, and the result is quite beautiful, with a gem displaying a range of colors.
It is actually much more difficult to cut a precious topaz with even color. It is not possible with every piece of rough, and even a relatively uniform piece of rough topaz will display multiple colors depending the angle at which you view it. To cut a gem with perfectly uniform, saturated color is a real challenge, making such stones even more rare and special.
You'll have to decide which style of cutting is your favorite! If you choose clean, richly saturated, evenly colored topaz, this one is gorgeous.

Etsy
Is this the first time you've purchased a gem from us? We're good and honest people. And we rely on our good reputation to stay in business. But we do understand that you may be looking for added security when shopping for an expensive stone.
You may always choose to purchase any of our stones through our Etsy store.
Etsy holds your money in escrow until you receive your gemstone. They do happen to charge us a fat 8% of the sale price to do that, so you may notice that some of our prices are a notch higher on Etsy than here on our website.
